Delivery service is a joke!!!

Upon purchasing my new 51" TV from Game (my last choice supplier as their service is consistently shockingly bad, but I wanted to pick up a TV also which they have a good selection), I needed to transport my TV and stand back to my house. To my surprise, Game do not offer a delivery service!!! Instead, they have random contractors, in tiny bakkies, lurk around the outside like vultures. Game bears no responsibility whatsoever should something happen in making use of these contractors, but they do advocate the use of them. To make it worse, these contractors don't even take proper precautions when transporting these goods, such as ties, wrapping, etc. They wanted to lay my TV down, flat on the corrugated bakkie, and wedge it in with a hand cart, and drive like that up Witkoppen (a road which is full of bumps, cracks and undulations). When asked about it, the management there just shrugged, and then continued with whatever menial paperwork they were doing. Never again will I make a big purchase at a Game store. Your service has been atrocious in the past, but this takes the cake! Game do ship from their warehouse apparently, but TVs and who knows what else are not shipped from there!
