Today I went to the Mr Price Branch in Sunnyside Pretoria, after selecting two t-shirts I went to the pay point, now I do not mind waiting in a queue as it is reasonable to wait a couple of minutes, but having to wait 20 min whilst there is staff for the tills and only 4 people in front of me with a few items and a whole lot of customers behind me, 4 cashiers (one busy with a refund/exchange, one packing hangers, one in and out of the till area and one on the phone) that is a bit annoying, but hey it's ok, so I finally end up paying for my purchase 20 minutes after I joined the queue the cashier named Refilwe Serithi (as per the till slip as they don't wear name badges) hands me my till slip and bag and that's it, so I ask her my change? she shrugs and casually shouts to the cashier on the phone if she has 10c, ok yes 10c is not a lot but consider a 10c from every customer? if she told me sorry I don't have change it would have been accepted but still, how many customers are actually robbed of change this way? this is pathetic - I ended up leaving without my 10c
