Credit limit = Salary???

Good day.

A colleague came to me for help as she had defaulted on her account & ACS is now handling it. I do not have a problem with it being handed to a collection agency - she had defaulted. My problem is the amount of money she was allowed to buy for - it is almost the same amount as her nett monthly salary.

I am interested to know how you work out your credit limits. I look forward to hearing from you urgently.
