Refusal of Refunds on return of Goods

Good Day,

I have been an avid Aca Joe Jeans supporter for over 5 years, wearing ONLY Aca Joe Jeans.
Over the past 6 to 8 months I have been to numerous AJ stores (C/City, Cavendish, Sandton, etc) in hopes of finding AJ Jeans.
This search finally paid off last week Thursday 29 August when the Century City store had Jeans again, so I immediately purchased 3 pairs without second guessing the cut because your jeans have ALWAYS been the best.

Much to my horror, when trying them on at home, they fit horribly. This new cut does not suite my body type at all! Dissappointed I went back to the store today (5 days later) to return the un-worn jeans with all labels still attached, only to be told it against company policy to refund returns.???

This is the first time in my life that I am told that I am not allowed to return un-worn, un-used garments to a store and that within 5 days of purchase?!?!? It's not as though I have altered the garments and worn them for a week before deciding to return them.
I was promptly told that if they were damaged then the store would be happy to refund me but because the garments are fine, they will not even consider it as it is against company.
