Poor Quality of Material Used to Make Jeans

I bought a pair of jeans from Truworths for R400; i.e. these were not a 'cheap' pair of pants. They fitted like a glove and I was very happy with my purchase. Unfortunately, after the first wear, the jeans stretched significantly and seemed to be a size too large for me. I do understand that jeans tend to stretch, but this was more than usual. I attempted to shrink them by washing them, but to no avail; the jeans remained in the stretched state. The Truworths branch refused to accept my return of the jeans and sent them to head office for assessment. My jeans were returned from head office with no explanation for my claim rejection. I refuse to accept that Truworths produces such a poor quality of garment, that this is acceptable to their quality assurance department. If this matter cannot be resolved, I shall definitely not be making any further purchases from Truworths; and advise others to do the same, for fear that the garments will wear equally as poorly.
