Sale not cancelled after 2 months!!!

My mom bought a TV at Lewis 2 months ago but decided to cancel the purchase after a few days, within the cooling off period. After numerous requests to the branch manager, the sale has still not been cancelled, 2 months later, and my mom has received 2 statements already, demanding payment.
Unacceptable practice from Lewis Stores as they dont want to miss out on reaching sales targets and commission, so they ignore cancellation requests!!! Customers being listed as slow payers on credit bureau so that branches can reach their sales targets! Unethical much??
