POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE/PRICING ISSUE

On Wednesday 5th June, I went to Clicks at I'langa Mall in Nelspruit to purchase a new iron. I chose a Phillips iron that was clearly marked at a special price on the shelf. When I got to the till to pay for my purchases, the price that was rung up for the iron was R100 more than what the Specials ticketing (large red & white price card) stated. After a long wait, a lot of huffing and puffing from the Clicks staff and discussions in a language I do not understand, I was simply told that the specials price did not apply to that particular iron and nothing could be done about it. The Specials ticketing was clearly and undeniably placed on the shelf where these Phillips irons were merchandised. The attitude and customer "service" which I received, including from the Store Manager, was appalling. Needless to say, I left all the items I was going to purchase, including the iron, on the counter and walked out the store most upset and disgruntled!
