On Saturday morning (24/08/2013) my mother and I went to the Customer Service counter to sort out a problem with a promotional voucher for clothing received from Woolworths. The voucher could not be printed at home due to a problem on the website, however the customer service desk could not assist. So we asked them to keep the clothes that we were going to use the voucher for, until next week when we would come and collect it as soon as the voucher could be printed. When I went to collect the items this morning (26/08/2013) I was told at customer service that the items were not there anymore as it is only kept for 48 hours. When I phoned later to complain I was told items are only kept for 24 hours - so which is it? And why then did the person whom my mother asked to keep the items till the next week, not tell her that they can only keep it for 24 hours? This was really poor service from Woolworths; as I loyal customer and Wrewards member I expected better - at least to get the correct information and for promises to be kept.
