DAMAGED GOODS

Shops, Products, Services

I bought a vase on Saturday the 17th August at Melrose Woolies and I "assumed" that the vase was in good condition. After a few hours of shopiing when I was putting it in the car I realised that it was broken; and I took it back to the shop. When I got to the shop, I was told that it was sold in a saleable condition and they are not going to take it back.

Granted; but what I have an issue with is the "quality of the vase" - if it was a good quality vase am sure that it was not going to be broken that easilly and worse on the same day it was purchased. I am really starting to question the quality of goods sold at this shop.
