Quick to take money for damaged merchandise

To that I want to add - bad attitude, very poor service and not being people of their word.

An Athens 4 pce lounge suite was bought 23/7/2013 - cash (R6900) was paid and although damaged we were told it would be repaired before delivery. 31/7/2013 we arrived in Hermanus after our move only to find that the damage was never repaired - and since then we have not received any feedback - just empty promises which they now lay at the door of Gomma-gomma. Not the manager, Mr Smith, or his sales person, George, has given any personal feedback - or offered any apologies.

I am writing on behalf of my parents, Mr & Mrs J.F Steyn, - my dad is 90 years old and my mom 70 - she still gave George a R20 'tip' to thank him for his quick and friendly service - and then they turn around (probably laughing at the gullible old people) - and pack the damaged lounge suite for the move from Malmesbury to Hermanus - without as much as an explanation or an apology - in stead they gave their word that the chair was repaired (part of the one armchair's fabric came lose).

All they want is for the armchair to be repaired - they have paid hard earned cash for damaged goods!
