In November 2012 i bought a dutchess Gomma Gomma lounge suite from Russels Polokwane.
In the week of the the 15th of April i went to Russels and told them that 3 of the couches are damaged. One of them the arm rest was broken, the other one was the thread was tearing out and the last one had a burn on it. I understand that the burned was customer negligence but, they told me to also send it in and it would be repaired. When they loaded the couches they broke one them. I told them and still i don't know what they are doing about it. After two weeks i phoned them to find out what's going on. Where they told me they would get back to me. After another week i phoned them again. They then told me that the couch with the thread tearing out was also for me to pay. It was a factory fault. They gave me a quote that was handwritten with no company details on or stamp or any contact details. According to that quote, i must pay R1500.00. I then told them to bring the lounge suite back. Which they still did not do.
I'm waiting again almost two weeks. In the meantime i must sit on the floor. The lounge suite was also not Scotch Guard when i received it.
