Expire chicken

I bought chicken on the 17th of January wanting to use it the next day
The chicken was very smelly and off. I'm so disgusted in woolworths
Because I'm always buying there and it was old chicken that I cudnt even make
Use of even though the expire date was on the 20th of january.. Woolworths is suppose to be the best when it comes to food and other things. I don't think I will buy any food from there again. I'm really disappointed
