False Promotion

I recieved an SMS from Clicks: " Enjoy R40, 00 off your next purchase at a Clicks store. Show cashier this offer noxxx. Valid once until 31 Aug 2013". I tried using this promotion showing the cashier the voucher no at Midrand Midways Mews Clicks but the cashier said its invalid and she cannot assist. This was embarrassing and amusing to them since they must have thought its a. Furthermore I purchased another item which was reflecting R9.99 on the shelve but scanned R14.99 . I enjoy shopping at Clicks but if this is the service I am going to get then its time to change.
