I bought a new camera and memory card from Kalahari before my holiday to Europe. When I came back both the memory cards had failed. I logged a complaint on Hellopeter, Facebook and directly/email. Since that day I have only had 50 apologies and promises of refunds, promises of data being recovered and promised of being kept informed of development but unless I beg them or comment on Facebook (where others can see the discussions) I am not getting feedback and even then there is no progress. After 3 weeks of pleading and begging I got my refund.
Then I spoke to the manager Justin - rudest person I have ever met. He does not allow me to talk at all and just said if I have a problem I should take it up with Kalahari's external legal firm. Shocking!
So I have no memories of a holiday I would never be able to afford again and all that they give me as compensation is a R200 voucher and wash their hands of me.
If this is how Kalahari does business I hope financial fortunes mirror their attitude towards clients.
