Dont buy hush puppies

On the 18th december 2012 my mum (a pensioner) purchased a shoe from hush puppies in cresta.
It was ~ R 600 . After wearing it - indoors for ~ 2 days she found that the left shoe was uncomfortable. I contacted Hush puppies cresta on 21 December to tell them about it and that's when all the excuses started. I was told that it must be sent to head office to check. I sent it to cresta on the 7th jan to cresta who in turn sent it to head office . first i spoke to cindy, who then Marshall dealt with this query and promised to provide feedback which i did not receive. I have contacted him today only to be told - things were hectic and he will be meeting his md of friday. i was told that the shoe is very slighly scuffed but it still cannot be resold so the company will be at a loss?? Is is ok for a pensioner to be at a loss then?? How can a company who rants and raves about comfort produce shoes of this nature and quality. reading through all the other hello peter complaints i can see that i am not the only one. Withthe advent of cpa how is it that a company can get away which such antics. please provide me with a full refund for the shoe.
