I was shopping online yesterday & came across a few items that were marked at really good prices so I bagged them & proceeded to check them out, i was allowed to put in all my payment details but could not check out my order, i called the customer care & i was told that Mr Price was experiencing pricing issues. I asked if I could still get the items at the advertised prices &I was told I could not. This is unacceptable for a retailer the size of Mr Price. Customers do not maintain the pricing & therefore cannot be held responsible for any pricing errors experienced. The website had the items advertised at a certain price and that is the price which anybody would expect to pay. If Mr Price was aware of any pricing issue, which the company clearly was based on my conversation with the customer care representative, then it is Mr Price's responsibility to either take down the website whilst the pricing issues are being resolved or have a notice posted on the website informing customers of the pricing issues being experienced. This is more a matter of principle and integrity on the side of Mr Price. Based on the response I receive I will know Mr Price's stand as a company on these points
