Damaged Taco shells

I bought the taco shells on monday at PnP to use on wednesday. The box is expensive as it is imported from the UK. My idea was to make a mexican meal called Tacos that I had in Los Angeles now recently. I invited friends over and to my dismay about 6 of the 12 shells in the box were broken. As it was already too late and I couldnt take the stuff back i was left red face as my guests had to eat taco chips instead of Tacos.
