Mouldy blinds

I bought roll up blinds @ Mr price home for use in my kitchen and bathroom. I noticed that after a month the blinds were getting mouldy. No where on the packaging did it stated that the blinds could not be used in those areas. I spoke to monita who advised me that I cannot simply return the blinds as she first has to speak to the quality department which department was unfortunately closed as maybe I should not have used the blinds in those areas. When I explained to her but it doesn't say don't use it in those areas she said that she cannot assist me without speaking to that department first. She will phone me tomorrow to tell me what they say. I find this unacceptable as the product was not utilised against the manufacturer's instructions or abused in any way nor did it state on any of the packaging that the product would go mouldy. I again have to spend my time and petrol to dive back to the store if they will accept the return of the blinds. I am a regular shopper @ this branch but will have to consider taking my patronage elsewhere.
