I recently checked my thank-you points balance, to see that over R100 was "missing".
I queried this with Edgars - twice, and FINALLY had someone come back to me, only to have them tell me, that because I did not use my points during one of their promotion week-ends, they deducted them from my account. I want an explanation as to how Edgars thinks they can do that? Firstly - nowhere was it explained that all points were to be used, or they would be lost - in any communication for that promotional week-end, or by any staff member over that promotional week-end. Secondly - it is my choice as to when I use my points, and if not all over that particular promotion, why should I get penalised and have them deducted from my account? Points are awarded to us, for whatever reason, so how can they now just be deducted from our account.
Edgars - you may as well deduct the remainder of my points, because I will not be shopping at any of your stores again, and I will be closing my account, if this is how you treat your customers.
