On Sunday the 21st July 2013 I purchased a single large item from Makro in Springfield Park (DBN). I joined the hand held items queue as I only had one item. Due to my item being large I had it in a trolley (whilst in the hand held items line), with the intention of carrying it by hand as i got closer to the tills. I was approached by a rude and arrogant Dolly Govender who repeatedly embarrassed me in front of other customers telling me I am in the wrong queue. Her behaviour was pathetic and deplorable. Being a loyal Makro customer for more than 10 years I find this experience very disturbing to say the least. Dolly Govender obviously has no manners and treats customers with NO respect or dignity. She is lacking severely in customer relations and overall management skills. This type of behaviour will guarantee a loss of customers at Makro Springfeld. I may have been in the wrong in this particualr incident, but i still deserve to be treated with dignity and respect. I wont return to Makro Springfield again because they clearly do not need my business.
