Checkers discontinue popular cakes

We used to go to our local Checkers and buy a custard or apple doughnut on weekends but management tell us, these items have been discontinued due to high wastage!..all we can get are the doughnuts with the white gunge in them and which largely go unsold. I think Checkers are just giving preference to counter decorations with long shelf lives. The selection of cakes at Waterfall Spar is far, far superior and their manager likes to listen to his customers. We no longer have a reason to go to Checkers.
