No more doughnuts

I often shop at Checkers in Ballito and always buy a jam doughnut. Yesterday when they had non I queried this with the person behind the counter and was told they were not making any more. I asked if that was just for today and his reply was that they were given an instruction from headoffice of what they can and cannot make in the bakery. He said that they had been instructed to not make any more Jam Doughnuts. I of course was appalled, probably a silly thing to get upset over but I was and thus settled for a chocolate covered ring doughnut which I must admit was rather disgusting. I know I am just a minority but I will no longer be frequenting Checkers. Thankfully I have found an alternative supply of really nice Jam Doughnuts.
