Staff being blatently unaware of their surrounding

I went past pick n pay bottle store sometime last week or the week before. I noticed a display for a competiton with Amarula, all I had to do was buy a bottle for 90 odd rands and I would be able to enter. After buying the bottle I asked reception how the competiton works. Her respose was "wat competion" she was unaware that a competion was even running and ishe then asked the security gaurd (as if that is his job to know) he said he too was unaware of the competion and eventually the manageress came out to assist and yet AGAIN she was not aware of the competion. I showed her the display in the window and the goodies that could be won and she then told me to put my name and number on the back of the receipt and leave it on a table, A TABLE!!! No box no bag just a table in the middle of nowhere. I then eventually left not very satisfied of how the promotion was run and am obviously sure that my entry was not submitted. Please when running future promotions can staff be aware so that they can do their job to the best of their ability. Either that or just don't run competiotions at all.
