I am a very frustrated as I have opened an account with Morkels at Avonwood branch in Elsies River, Cape Town. I was given a faulty product (bedroom suit) and I reported that immediately after I found out. After several calls, visits to the branch and even called the head office, the bedroom suit was replaced. When they gave me a new one, I was asked to sign a new contract as they said it was policy. The amount of other products which I bought with the bedroom suit was transfered to the new acount. i was told that the old account will be cancelled and the money I paid to the old account will be tranfered to the new account. the old account was never cancelled and I now have two accounts with Morkels for the same products. i was told by their useless head office that the old account is now in arrears. Please help me in resolving this issue as I have exosted all my efforts. The Morkels accounts department, head office, complaints departments are useless. The Avonwood branch closed down before resolving the issue and they they told me everything was sorted out. I was refered to Parow branch whic is even worse. I was asked to make a follow up by myself
at Parow branch.
