Game
Microwave still defective after 3 service attempts

Shops, Products, Services

Hi there, I took my Defy Convection Microwave (Model: DMO332) to Game Tygervalley service department in December 2012. (within warranty period)

Please refer to Repair number: 331/1281 as well as order 1383 for reference of faults reported:
1) Microwave has buzzing noise
2) Convection oven is operating at much lower temperature than indicated.

Upon collecting the "repaired" microwave from the Game store on the 12th of January 2013 and again on a follow up repair in February and again in June I tested the temperature of the convection oven again using a calibrated digital thermometer as well as analogue backup unit.

On an indicated 180'C the oven is still barely running at 150'C. Game claims that the Defy service person tested the product and found no problems - it is however quite clear that the problem is still not resolved.

Upon taking off the bubble wrap after the last "repair" I notice that the door frame is now also broken and the turning pan inside the microwave has gone missing.

I am really not impressed by this fiasco and would really appreciate a fully functional, complete and intact oven please.
