I have a account with the Mr Price group. On 21/06/2013 I went to Mr Price Clothing to buy a new outfit for a special occasion I had that same night. Automatically I will charge it to my account seeing that month end is still far in site. After spending a good hour and a half in there, my arms packed with clothing I made my way towards the cashiers. After a few minute wait I was next, got to the cashier, she rang up all my goods and I excited for the up coming evening seeing that I found just what I am looking for. When the cashier announced my total I reached to give her my card. She made this funny facial expression telling me, "oooh sorry, our system is offline, cash or credit card only"... If I had cash or a credit card would I have given my account card then. It was not their fault as the main Head Office was offline. I get it, I really do, but what was I supposed to do in that regard. I had to walk out of there empty handed and cancel my plans for the night. Also they were quite a rude bunch, however ive always been treated with respect at Mr Price Sport but not at the clothing in Centurion. They shouldve told everyone at the door NO ACCOUNTS
