Pick 'n Pay
Rip off - the price u see is not the price u pay

Shops, Products, Services

I rarely ever shop at Pick n Pay Hyper Woodmead. My experience yesterday was an eye opener. I was horrified when I got to the till point to learn that the price I was invoiced for certain items were not the prices the items were advertised for on the shelf. I was charged more than the advertised price on 7 items purchased. The resolution process was appalling. I was kept waiting for more than 30 minutes, after this was brought to the attention of the supervisor. Instead of taking the details of all the items and checking them at once, she prolonged our agony by looking at each item individually having to go back and forth to each isle each time to confirm the correct prices. For Example Milo was advertised as "take two for R65.00", I was charged R46.99 for each. It was at that stage that I decided to check the rest of the items. Koo baked beans was advertised as "take 4 for R23.00" I was charged R6.99 each, Condensed milk was advertised as R11.99, I was charged R15.49, Traditional Soya Sausage was R24.99 each, I was charged R34.99 each (no credit passed) only saw that now... the list goes on. I wonder how many other customers were unknowingly ripped off yesterday. Shameful
