RETRENCH BUT WHO CARES

Beginning of this year I got retrenched. I paid what I can on this account because it stays my responsibility. Tried phoning their helpdesk to inform them about my situation but got no assistance except that I have to pay this account. When I ask for an e-mail or a fax number where I can send my retrenchment letter of proof that I was retrench I received no assistance at all. On Edgars website I did lodge a query/complaint more than ones but received no feedback except that my query was received by e-mail. Edcon is sending me sms'es now stating that they will place me on the credit bureau and also have I been harassed with sms'es from debt collectors. Think this is unacceptable seeing from the start I was honest with these people and up till now I have paid what I can when I have any money. I didn't ask to be retrench and it is unacceptable to further enable me by making me un-credit worthy and have debt collectors haunting me day and night.
