In November 2012 my washing machine (purchased with extended warranty) broke. The store put me in touch with the people from the extended warranty company, who promptly sent out 2 guys to assess my machine. They diagnosed the prblem to be a cracked drum casing and said they would be back later in the week to execute the repairs. Since then I have not been contacted by them sponaneously.
When I have contacted Game Sandton to complain, the woman from the warranty place phones to tell me that there is no spare part available. When I cited Game's repair within 21 days or replace policy, she told me that the terms for the extended warranty were different to those of the store warranty.
Game Sandton's manager and sales manager have both taken my complaint and promised to revert by COB the same day and have failed to do so.
I have now been without a washing machine for over 2 months and have no idea as to when this will finally be resolved.
I am at the end of my tether and beyond frustrated by the lack of accountability and Game Sandton's inability to resolve the problems with a policy sold to me by them to supposedly protect my consumer rights!
