Rude sales assistants

It was my birthday on the last week and I received a beautiful handbag but there was a mark on it that looked like it could possibly be a manufacturing fault. I got the receipt from the gift giver and wanted to exchange the bag. I could not believe the snotty looks and attitude I received from the staff! I was looked up and down and given an extremely cold shoulder and was asked after displaying the receipt, "Did your boyfriend buy you this bag? The tall, hot, blonde guy?! I remember because I assisted him." I could not believe this comment or the horrible, unprofessional attitude. What was even more amazing after thinking about it is that the sales assistant sold my boyfriend the bag after clearly seeing the fault on it. Unacceptable.
