Hi Peter,

I had an account which was opened in 2005 with Truworths, through financial constrains I could not settle the balance due. The account was handed over to some attorneys in Vereeniging and I was paying the R250 monthly. Today again I had a visit from a lady working for Capital Data which is mandated by MBD Attorneys to collect a some of R3, 048.93 from on behalf of Truworths. I told her that as far as I'm concerned thats a written off account as debt collectors they always buy such accounts from Credit Beraus and ending up charging consumers huge amounts of money. Kindly assist me with this
