Game is charging me for their incompetence

I went to Cresta to settle my account early April 2013. I then asked one of their cashiers if I can settle my account at their till and they said "YES". So I settled it off and the Balance reflected as R0.00 on the receipt. Today (12 June 2013) I get an SMS saying that the required payment has not been received. So I went to Cresta with my receipt as proof that I settled my account like it indicates on the receipt, and they tell me that they have told their cashiers a bunch of times to send customers who want to settle their accounts to the Credit Desk which they never do so... SORRY. Now, they want me to pay interest charges that has accumulated over the past two months for their (Game) lack of training of their staff. Game should take responsibility
