FOREVER RING - DIAMOND FELL OUT I MUST PAY

I have to report that i am very unhappy with service of Sterns. my husband bought me a FOREVER ring from Sterns as my engagement ring.its not even 3 years old... and i have had it cleaned etc at professional jeweller therefore was taken care of. all of a sudden i looked down and my big diamond had fallen out. i then took it to 2 jewellers to look at both who said " it was a bad and low setting and that i should rather let one of them fix it so that it could be set correctly. he also noted that it was not sue to be worn Hard and that he did not pick up that i had bumped. i have the letter from the jeweller to proof this. yet i had to send it to QC at Sterns who now say that it was worn hard and that i must pay to have the ring fixed. their suggestion being a re quote and they will remake the ring " question " why would you need to re make a ring if the diamond setting is correct surely you could just put new diamond in.. they want me to PAY for a new ring and diamond. Most rings have lifetime guarantees. they told me they have 6 months for factory faults. like i would know its faulty in 6 months. shocking service i want my ring fixed ASAP..at NO COST. disgusting.
