NO EXCHANGE WITHOUT TILL SLIP

I went and bought a "pop robet" at spar lyttleton and to my arrival at home the next day when i open it and try to use it, i found out that the mechanism inside was damaged.
i went to back to the store to exchange it for another one and i was told by carren that because i did open the cover and don't have till slip they cant exchange it for me.
THE NATIONAL credit act act allow me the right to exchange good if found not in good order and i was unhappy about them. The item had spar Logo on it but she said, how will she know i bout if from that spar and not the other spar.
i Told her i will take it up to the media and she said to me 'I DON'T CARE, DO AS U WISH"i will never buy again in any spar store and i will influence anyone i come across to stop buying anything at any spar... i will expose this to the end.
