I bought a Probe battery from Makro Woodmead on 25-02-2012 which has a 2 year warranty. I took it in to be replaced after it stopped holding charge on 11-Jan-2013, just 9 months later. They refused to exchange there and claimed they did not have a technician to check it. I asked if I could just buy a new one as I needed to use my car and they could refund me when Probe replaced it but they just kept quiet. I explained that it is urgent as I won't have a car until it is replaced but nothing.

Then I followed up on 15-Jan-2013 and they had no feedback. I informed them again that it was urgent but nothing again. I followed up again yesterday (17-Jan-13) and still had no feedback. Then it came out that it was only logged on the 15th after I followed up and nothing happend from the 11th until then.

I asked to speak to the Manager (Malodi or Mahlodi) and explained the predicament of not having the car for a week already and I needed a battery by today (18-Jan-13) He took my details again an promised to call before 10:00am. I never got a call or feedback!

I called Probe directly at 10:45am. They delivered a new fully charged battery at 14:15, 3 hours later.
