SINGLE PAYING DOUBLE!

I am outraged that for the second month in a row I am paying twice for my Foschini Account. This has happened in the past too and I have had enough.

It all started last month after I paid my Foschini Account in store soon after (1 or two days) was debited for the same amount I had just paid. When I queried with Customer Care I was told that I could go in store where I made my payment and get a cash refund. I questioned last month why the onus was on me to recoup my money when the fault was on Foschini's side.

This month I have had the same problem. On 30 May 2013 I went in store to pay my account. I asked the cashier what my instalment due was and she replied R 560. I happily paid as I always pay my accounts diligently. When I went to the bank today I noticed a drastic change in my bank balance and when I got my statement I saw that I had been debited on 27 May 2013. Now surely when I asked what my instalment due was it should have reflected as zero seen that my bank account had been debited 3 days prior to that.

I am a single Mom and I pay my account diligently... but now I have forked out R 1120 instead of R I have no car or means to recoup my money for your mistake
