CNA
False product specs and low quality product

Shops, Products, Services

About a year ago, I purchased a set of Sonic MD516 Headphones at CNA for R30. I was so happy with the sound quality that I decided to purchase a second set. Unfortunately they were out of stock. I did however find a more expensive pair of Sonic Headphones with identical specifications: The Sonic Colours Model SSH003. They appeared to have better quality ear pads and headband.

I took them home and put them to the test. First thing I noticed was the cheap quality cable of the SSH003, nothing like the cable on the R30 MD516's. Getting them on my head was a burden since the Y-split on the cable can't be extended, so it dug into my neck, clearly made for people with small heads. Finally the sound, it's terrible, nothing like the MD516's, which means that the specs on the packaging are grossly misrepresented or, more likely, a complete thumbsuck.

I contacted their customer service for the and was given a reference number of 27051330366/GO and was told by Bonnie that I would get a response within 48 hours. I'm still waiting.

CNA was once a reputable store which you could rely on for excellent customer service an accurate product description and good quality products.
