Terrible service - defective sunglasses

I purchased branded sunglasses at the Sunglass Hut outlet at Edgars on the Mothers Day promo. (Original price R2150). They were defective: the arm clicked against the glass threatening to crack the glasses. I tried to exchange them but those in stock had the same problem. I reported this within the stipulated 10 day period. They offered that I choose a more expensive pair, which I was happy to do. They then told me that I had to pay in the discount they had originally given me, even they were at fault and wee not in a position to give me a working pair! The manager, Vusi, said: "I am busy with stock-take, do whatever you want; I don't care", when I told him that I would report this to the Edgars management. The new manager, Laverne, said it was not her fault, refusing to understand that what they were suggesting was a breach of contract and unethical business practice. The only person who tried to help was Blossom.
