Never will I shop at Shoprite again due to the employees level of self righteousness and blatant disrespect for my business. I wanted medicine from the Cigarette counter that was only available there and decided to buy two extra items from the store itself. After waiting a while in the que the cashier said I couldn't pay there. It was the first time I heard of this, I always payed there. I told her that I wanted to pay there because she was the only counter that had what I wanted. This cashier didn't even apologize or explain why she just said I had to go to the other line in front. Angered at her rudeness I wanted to speak to the manager, she just said the manager is around the corner. When I looked a lady asked me how can I help you. I said I would like to speak to the manager, she repeated her question every time I asked to speak to the manager. She told me in a very rude tone why I couldn't pay. When I told her I would be taking my business elsewhere all she said was "Ya then go". I have been going to this store for years and grew up in the area. I will never buy from a Shoprite store ever again as I feel I was not treated with any respect or the decency that everyone deserves.
