Service not acceptable

We went to sterns arrived there at half past four, looking for assistance to buy wedding rings, the ladies rushed us along and showed no interest in the sale at all, did not even answer questions accordingly or give us guidance asked us if we have a account we said no would like to pay cash instead, at 16h35 we were asked to look at the rings outside and the stores closed, poor customer service they did not take our details or show interest on a follow up. Is this the service we are getting in todays lives when shopping for items for the most important day of our lives.
