Dis-Chem
Told to just 'do whatever'

I phoned Dis-Chem in Polokwane's Savannah Mall about two weeks ago after seeing a product on the internet that was said to be available at all leading outlets of certain shops, including Dis-Chem. I wanted to avoid the hassle of ordering over the internet and so phoned to hear if they stocked the product. The woman answered me with a very loud 'Huh'? and said no they don't have it. I asked her if she heard correctly what I was looking for and she said they don't have it. I gave the name again and asked her to check if they could order it for me, which is what the internet ad also said they could do. She told me (without checking) that she hadn't heard of it so they wouldn't order it for me. She asked why I wanted it from them instead of ordering on the internet and I told her because it would take longer with the internet and that I wanted to cut out shipping costs. She told me to 'Do whatever' and I asked her to at least ask a manager or someone to do a bit more research into ordering for me, and she said, ''You know what? It'll be easier if you just do it yourself at home''. I told her okay, but it's a but disappointing and she said ''Ja okay bye''.
I was so disgusted. Pathetic
