Wont pay arrears amount

Hi have an existing account with high -fi corp, i reqiested for them to change my debit order date which they eventually did 2 months after the initial request. The new D/O date is supposed to take effect in May 2013, to my suprise i got a call from them to say i was in arrears whereas the was money in the account for the D/O to run in april. So why should i pay the amount when they where the ones who didnt debit initially???

i wont be paying that amount as the error was due to their incompetence and lack of respect for their clients.
