I am extremely disappointed and unimpressed with the lack of professionalism and customer service withsorting out appliances within extended warranty periods. I reported a faulty washing machine on 25 April at the store due to the fact it falls in dates listed on the extended warranty, as all phone lines were out of order and thus had to fax the report form to head office myself. Very unprofessional. On 29 April i returned to the store to find out when the fault would be attended to. The consultant phoned head office and had to hold for 25 minutes for a Cecelia before it was discovered she wasn't even at work. Unacceptable. The washing machine was "fixed" on 2 May by swapping parts only to wash twice and then break again. Now 6 May I have been told the machine is not under extended guarantee but normal guarantee thus the manufacturer has to fix it. Now parts have to be ordered and I have to wait extra time because house and home couldn't fill in the extended guarantee with the correct dates in the first place and when they do "fix" machines, they try to cheat the system. Completely unacceptable service. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING TO BUY ANY APPLIANCE OR RECOMMEND THEM TO ANYON
