Contaminated Mince Scare revisited

I purchased mince on special offer from Winchester Pick on 25 April 2013. Although the expiry date was the 28th, I discovered it was poilt when I cooked it yesterday. I took all the mince back today and spoke to the manager/owner Waldo, who was loud and rude. He told me to come back tomorrow because head office is closed and dont have a receipt. I asked him to check his tally rolls, debit card purchase records, or shopper card records to confirm. He told me he can only help me tomorrow. Refund aside, I asked him what sort of quality control procedures he had in place to ensure freshness of food. He did not have any understanding of what I was asking, even after illustrating my question with references to temperature control, shelf life control, expiry dates, etc. He rudely shouted that now I am telling him what his job is. I am seriously concerned that this store is substandard and does not comply with the practices of Pick and Pay. It certainly does not deliver the quality and freshness I expect from Pick and pay. The manager is poorly skilled in providing customer service. In contrast the staff at the store are usually fantastic. This store should be audited.
