In February i ordered over R25 000 of furniture from @Home. Initially they were good at communicating, and delivered my furniture 10 working days as promised. However the dining room table had a scratch on it which they had tried to cover up with varnish. I had to have someone else sign for my delivery as i could not get off work, but as soon as i got in and inspected the furniture, i took photos and called the store and emailed the pictures the next day. Initially i was called back, although i had to chase a lot. I was told that there was no stock on tables in Cape Town and they would need to wait and call me back, but by May i should have a new table. I explained its difficult for me to be at home, so due to the circumstances they may need to deliver on a week end. Well since then I've heard nothing. I've emailed over 3 times in the past 2 weeks to the store, and asked for them to get the warehouse to call me. I find it unacceptable that stores are so quick to your money, but once they delivered damaged good they are happy to leave them with you and provide terrible customer service. At least if they couldn't't replace they could refund 50% of the product. I
