I have a query, no one seems to be able to give me acceptable, decent answers.

I have Russells two year furniture contract, I took insurance but now want to have this cancelled because I have my own insurance provider. Russells says I cant cancel? because I signed a 2year contract. besides them being rude and insisting that I cant, I feel very forced to have insurance that I no longer need.
I have sent proof of my own insurance stating my current cover for all my household contents.
Barbra at Russells also threatened me by saying she will have me black listed if I return the furniture? what?
It makes no sense for me to have 2insurance policies as I CANNOT claim from both because it is illegal.
please help because I am sure Russell's cant force me to have insurance (as per legal advisor) with them, be it before, during or after I signed a contract.
I have been a client of theirs before but doubt after this service that I will be going back. Never skipped an instalment and even increased payment on my debit order.
It seems they quick to take your money but reluctant to be helpful in any way. the manner in which they conduct themselves is appalling!!!
