Damaged goods delivered no action taken

We ordered two pieces of furniture and were promised delivery in 3 weeks. After 3 weeks our couch arrived damaged and we were told our bookcase would only arrive 10 weeks later, after we paid a huge deposit. We reported the couch damaged as it did not look at all like the couch on display and had huge seemingly watermarks on it. We took photos and sent it in. We have had a call saying that an assessor will come around... some day... Are they expecting us to use the couch and then blame the damage on us and refuse to replace it? What are we suppose to do with this piece of damaged furniture??? It is now two weeks after our first report of the damaged delivered couch-and still no action. This is just one disappointment after another. We ordered other furniture from them years ago and never had such bad service, this is truly shocking!!! I tried to reach their customer call centers this Saturday morning but there was no one picking up the telephone? So much for customer service...
