My entire experience with Duesouth, a member of Foschini Group, has been appalling from the moment I stepped in the door.

In-shop service: The in-shop service I received was terrible. I was looking for a specific trail running bag, yet none of the staff had any idea about what I was talking about or how to assist me. Eventually one of the staff managed to find what I was looking for on the system.

Order: I was working within a very short time-frame so I made 100% sure what I ordered was correct. What was eventually delivered was not what I had actually ordered. I received an old stock bag (I specifically wanted the 2013 edition), and charged more than double the price other retailers were selling this bag for when they cleared their old stock.

Customer feedback: When I complained and made an effort to rectify the situation I received a single response from the Foschini Group to acknowledge the problem. Following my reply and my subsequent efforts to follow-up, I have never heard anything back from anyone.

Ironically I received some random complimentary Foschini vouchers in the post should I choose to open an account, needless to say that letter went straight into the dustbin!
