I have just wasted my entire lunch time standing in the queue only to be informed that the system is offline and no cards can be accepted. Notifications were put up at various points stating that no debit cards can be accepted, however credit cards can be used but will take longer to process, therefore the notifications were misleading. The lady at the pay point was very arrogant and rude and this is not the first time I have experienced this type of behaviour from Woolworths personnel. I also recently had a very bad experience with your personnel at Eastgate Woolworths when I returned a damaged coffee grinder which I purchased about a week before. The personnel were extremely impolite and the manager at customer services blatantly arrogant and rude. I purchase from Woolworths at least twice a week and spend a substantial amount of money at your stores. The level of service and attitudes from your staff it not what one would expect from Woolworths. It is sad to say, but my experiences are no more pleasant and if this poor service and bad attitudes will prevail I do not want to continue supporting any of your stores.
