Unsatisfactory installation of outdoor beams

ADT in Paarl installed outdoor beams in our garden on 27 March 2013. After installation, one of the outdoor beams detected movement of pedestrians on the sidewalk. We informed ADT of the problem and one of their technical staff was sent out on 28 March 2013 whom supposedly rectified the problem. This was not the case. The outdoor beam continues to detect movement on the sidewalk and we therefore have to bypass the beam to prevent continuous activation of the alarm. We consequently feel unsafe, a basic service supposedly provided by ADT.

Additionally, after closer inspection we found that, the bracket used to fix one of the outdoor beams to the wall is loose, wheras the bracket of a second beam is completely missing. This is not the first time we as ADT clients have suffered under the unprofessionalism of the ADT technical team in Paarl. We are paying good quality money and deserve to receive good quality technical service.

I would also like to bring it under your attention that the technical members have made used of our bathroom, and made a complete mess of it. So for future reference, please do not send a bunch of barbarians to our home
